Enter CYBERWORLD - Hello hello again again! This is the next Luffinpuff and Eric story: CYBERWORLD. It's gonna be seventy bajillion jiggabytes of fun. Or something like that!

In case you haven't noticed, I like experimenting with this comic in short bursts. This is one of those silly experiments. It's only gonna be like 6 pages and it's going up 2 pages a week so it'll be over soon, I promise!!

All the screenshots are from Second Life, a virtual "world" I am ashamed to have been a part of since 2004. I run a shop in-world selling stupid "avatars" (basically costumes for your character) and make real-world money from it every month. If you play, look up Remington Pennyfeather! I don't get on much these days but it'd be cool.

Have a cyber day!

My dad used to play that, and to answer Luffinpuff's question, I like Sockodile better.

Sockodile blows Stockington out of the water.

Totally might have to add you there. I'm Rhem Eiren. I mostly just roleplay and such. It's really not something you could do everyday. Not many cool people around.

Lady Stockington looks charming, but Sockodile is the bomb.

oh yes, now they're doing MMO's. When will the spoofs on pop culture ever stop?

Definitely Lady Sockington, no offense to Sockodile.

Yet another arc all nerds can relate to, this is why I love your comic. :]

Hm, I also wanted to ask...

Do you do all of your inking/lineart with a tablet? It looks really fluid and smooth, not wobbly or broken or anything. It's pretty admirable actually.

@ Swift_Griffon - That's 1 for Sockodile!

@ SpiralPen - 2 for Sockodile!

@ MrMonochromatic - Sweet! Add me as a friend if you like. But you're right, not that many cool people in SL these days - just a lot of weirdoes. Like me!

@ Wolfytails - Yeah, I make enough every month to pay the monthly fee of keeping my shop (about $10) and then a few dollars more. It's not as much as it used to be - back in like 2006 I was able to buy a real $50 top hat online using my internet monies. It was weird.

@ MacSimon - That's another one for Sockodile! Dude is putting Stockington to shame!

@ noodlebuns - Uncomfortable, isn't it?

@ FlashBang - NEVER EVER. This one is more making fun of Second Life, but I've got a more traditional MMO (WoW, etc.) story in mind for the future.

@ Venkman Blues - Cool man! What's your name on there?

@ yukaiHUNNY - There we go! One for Stockington!

@ The_mad_one - The magic of copy and paste my friend. But seriously people stand pretty still in Second Life as it is.

@ Kittyz - He is blind to the wonders of a sock puppet crocodile, instead spending time with his muscle leather anime dude virtual puppet. (CONNECTIONS!!)

@ JimLad - Thanks man! :D Glad you're enjoying it!

@ Paranoid-Bliss - Sockodile is the clear winner here.

@ Crystalbear - I do all my lineart in pencil, then I scan it in and ink it in Paint Tool SAI with a lil' 5x7 Wacom Bamboo. Then I do all the coloring in Photoshop. And thanks for the compliment! To be truthful Paint Tool SAI does a bit of line smoothing for me. It's just the program that feels most natural to me - the most like using a real pen in real life. I recommend it!

So I've bought one of your products a few months back. The Fuzzable. Small virtual world, eh?
