- HALLOWEEN QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are you gonna carve a pumpkin this year? If so, what's it gonna be?

My Answer: I'm going to for sure, but I always figure out what I'm doing as I'm carving it!

I don't think I'll be home to give candy to trick-or-treaters so no pumpkins this time. But one year I carved Luffy from the anime One Piece and it looked really cool. Oh and I think I did Kirby before too.

We haven't carved pumpkins in years. We're too far out in the country for anyone to trick or treat at, so there's no little kids to show our handwork off to ):

I carved a pumpkin with Professor Layton and Luke on it. It looks pretty sweet.

Mmmn, if I do wind up carving something, it will either be

A. Some spidery-creature-thing I've been musing over in my head, just, a lotta legs/eyes and some cutting and peeling layers

B. Luffy's Jolly Roger, from One Piece :D

... or both!

Apparently not, unless I manage to hide it from my sisters, and find someplace outside of the house to do it.

Hm no pumpkin. Amusing comic. Eric still is disinterested.

@ cqclegoman - Thanks!

@ cliffi - That's the ticket! It helps me be more original I think. People who use patterns out of books? HA.

@ SunnyKitty - Good ideas! Kirby especially since he's just a round guy anyway - just like a pumpkin!

@ ParadoxComic - Aw man! You should carve some and then drive to civilization and leave them there mysteriously.

@ BubblegumPunk - Excellent!

@ Captain Ghost - Peeling layers is something I've wanted to try for ages and I think this year I will. It seems difficult but I have a background in sculpture so hopefully it's kinda the same thing!

@ amymist - Your sisters a bunch of pumpkin smashers?! Lemme at em!!

@ James Birdsong - It's old news for him.

@ xkrazydog - lol ya eric ur sooo kewl n brave lol

@ MoreThanOnce - You and me both! I bet he'd roll really well. He's practically spherical.

Eric's friends just make everything better, lol. And of course Eric isn't shocked at all.

I wonder if something WILL happen to shock Eric? I hope so!

The ghost ae popping out of the paintings! How can you meh that!? Then again, he was doing the same thing to the spirit wolves and the deer with a mans face.

Last weekend we did a curving cotest where we printed some stencils of cereal mascots (for fairness). I did Count Chocula and it was a pain trying to get the little shapes. Makes me wonder if those stencils were tested before they posted them.

Nah, they don't smash 'em, but my parents didn't want them carving, and they wanted it to be fair.
