- HALLOWEEN QUESTION OF THE DAY: Have you ever seen a ghost or experienced something paranormal?

My Answer: Nope! I'm kind of a skeptic anyway. I get frustrated with the guys on Ghost Adventures (codename: Ghost Bros) because they act so stupid and jump to crazy conclusions.

YES. I. HAVE!

i was in london last summer with my friend and we took a visit to the Tower of London. So, we went up to this part where, supposedly, these two princes were murdered by their uncle. and after that we walked around, got lunch, whatever. Then, i happened to look on my arm and there was a bite mark on it! as you can imagine, i was totally freaking out at this point. my friend thought maybe i had my arm against something. but i didn't. the bite mark was small too, like one of a child. i have pictures of it. it's completely legit. my friend was like " are you sure no one..bit you?..." and i was like "i think i'd notice if a kid was nibbling on my arm." XD

I watch Ghost Hunters, it seems more real to me. To anwser the question, I've experienced something paranormal... I was sleeping one night, then it felt like someone flicked my head, then some other night it felt like someone slapped my head... It all happened in my bedroom... O.o

That would have scared me! hahaha! Luffinpuff makes an awesome scarer!

And nope, never had anything supernatural happen to me that I can remember. I'm a skeptic myself. And yeah, they do jump to crazy conclusions.

Oh cute page. Very in character for Luffinpuff. As for inquiry I'd say yes. I suppose I saw a ghost a few years ago, very hazy and can't say for certain it was real. It happened a few nights in a row.

Oh yes. When I was younger, I had a bunk bed; right? Well, I woke up in the middle of the night finding much to my distress that my mattress was placed on cement.

I couldn't see anything, but it definitely felt like cement. After that I just went back to sleep and I woke up with my head on the other side of my bed the next morning.

I'm not sure if that's paranormal, or if I'm just crazy or something though.

Almost had him there.
Hmmmm, none myslef, though know it happened to my mom and dad while they were dating. In the house my mom lived, if I recall right, there was a ghost of a little girl. Use to push balls down the stairs and throw things. Think is throw something at my dad. Don't think they actually saw it, think one of my aunts did, might be how they knew it was a little girl.

I was sleeping and suddenly there was some kind of figure, like a young woman and she was staring at me so I just stared back, after a while the woman dissapeared and I went back to sleep super freaked out.

Do you count pet ghosts as " paranormal experiences " ? 'Cuz I totally saw a few of my old kitties as ghosts .

My mother tells me I use to talk to one when I was younger, his name was Jonathan and he use to rattle the pots in the kitchen and play with the toilet seat. We found out later that some kid died in the house at least eight years before we moved in so it was kinda cool, I'd love to go back to that house sometime.

Of COURSE it's a skeleton! What, did you expect Luffinpuff to come out of the closet? Come on, he'd NEVER do that...

Haha! Nice..

Well there was this one thing that happened to my greatgrandma. She lived in this big ol' retirement home, well anyway one night while she was sleeping in her chair she suddenly woke up for seemingly no reason. She apparantly then saw something that made her look out into the parking lot in front of her place. There she was this old man looking up at her from the middle of the parking. Apparantly the guy then turned to walk away and dissapeared in a bright flash.

Personally though there is something paranormal like happening to me on my walks to school in the morning. When I go to school paticulary early I swear to god I hear the sounds of a bike coming by. Now normally this wouldn't be creepy, except for one fact. I'm the only one around, no cars, no bikes, no other people, yet I still hear this sound. A while ago I wasn't walking home after dark from school and I swear to god I saw what seemed like a person on a bike go by in the distance. I blink, it's gone.

kind of. a few nights (about weeks or months apart) when i was sleeping i would feel the edge of my bed next to me go slightly down a little. like someone sat. but it wasn't low enough like they had much weight. but it did feel like someone sat there. you wouldn't think it's freaky but i sleep with my room locked. and it was super late/early night/morning and everyone in the house was asleep. i was so freaked out i didn't want to move. and hid my face under my covers pretending to sleep until i actually did.

I grew up in a 300 year old house. Did I see and hear things that freaked me out? yes. Does anyone believe me? no. I'm I still afriad of dark bathrooms? Beyond belief.

I TOTALLY beleive in the paranormal... It started at my friend's house several years ago.. We were about to go to bed and suddenly I was hit by a wall of cold air and I couldn't get warm, so I bundled up nice in bed, and right as I was about to fall asleep, I heard scratching. Now, my friend didn't have any pets inside the house, and her dogs were 30 feet away from the house in an inescapable fence. I passed it off as something outside, until I heard it again no more than 3 feet from my head. I was too afraid to roll over and look, but it stopped after a couple of minutes and I went to bed. After I came home, I heard it again a few years later. I'd never heard it before at my house. We have squirrels in our walls, but I can assure you, there's a difference between what a wall-squirrel and THAT sound like... the squirrels scratching around are very faint, and you have to listen pretty good to hear them. THAT was coming from my side of the wall, clear as anything. whatever it was, I haven't heard it since then. It's short, though, whatever it is.. I have computer loft bunk beds, so I sleep a good 6 feet off the ground, and I've never heard the scratching more than 3 feet up the wall... I make DAMN sure to keep a cat in my room when I sleep, since they're more sensitive to it. As long as the cat's asleep, I know I can sleep.

a couple months ago, I was actually watching Ghost Hunters, and me and my cat (she was in the hallway at the time) look up at the same time. We had no reason to look up, we just did, like we knew something would happen, and we watch this little blue light appear out of nowhere and float around for a few seconds before it disappeared behind the thermostat. I didn't feel threatened, and the cat didn't try to catch it.. I never saw it again.

Although, since my favorite cat died, I'd swear I see shadows in the hall.. I'd swear I heard purring where only she would sleep last night.. she's been gone almost a month and I still find her hair on everything...

I think my doll may be possesed or something. I bought I a little doll at a going out of business store and it was the only doll left so I felt sorry for it and bought it. Also I'm the type of girl who keeps all her dolls on her bed, so I went to sleep with my new doll next to me and I woke up with scratches on my hand that weren't there before. Then the next day we were watching a DVD movie and I placed the doll on the coffe table next to the rmote and my mom, brother, and I sat down in the kitchen to eat. Halfway during the movie it suddenly stopped and at first we thought it just froze, but then it began rewinding itself and we all just stared at my doll next to the remote. And if you're wondering my dad was at work so he couldn't have done it.
I kept waking up with scratches on my arm for a few days but then it stopeed, since then nothing abnormal has happened anymore. I'm not sure if it was a ghost or possesion or something, but I witnesses to prove it's true.
On another note that doesn't really matter the doll was a doll of Gaara from Naruto.

@ mamorii - Turns out the dead princes were in their teething stage! Coo story.

@ Thunder - STOP HITTING YOURSELF! STOP HITTING YOURSELF!

@ Loverofpiggies - HEH. See this? Me and LoP choose LOGIC. *puts on sunglasses and smokes a page of the Bible*

@ James Birdsong - A vaguely terrifying tale! Very vaguely!

@ cqclegoman - I'm not sure I understand this story. Was the ghost made of cement? Did the ghost move your mattress? Were you transported to an alternate concrete dimension? Needs more research.

@ RazorD9 - Spooky! Was it the kind of thing where they just kinda got used to it? Like, "Oh, there goes a plate across the room, must be Susie again!"

@ baryltdf - Ghosts are weird. They just show up and stare at you and then leave. It's like, stop judging me, you ain't even got a physical body!

@ The One That's Not Dead - That's paws-itively spooky!

@ Starlight Scorpius - Neato! Was the kid named Jonathan too?

@ tezzle - Nyuk nyuk nyuk! Tezzle, you funny.

@ Fuoco - Well, according to those types of shows, EVERY SINGLE THING that happens in old houses is the result of ghosts. Be careful!

@ LightTH - Maybe someone died trying to do a sick wheelie and now they ride their bike forever, trying to impress you with their wicked tricks...

@ iamdea - Oh, sorry, that was just me. I was just checking on you. No biggie!

@ Klonoa64 - THEN WHY COMMENT, KLONOA-SIXTY-FOUR?! I mean, I did, but that's different...

@ FanGirlofManyThings - I think everyone is afraid of dark bathrooms to some degree, but I'm sure your 300 year old dark bathroom was far scarier than mine.

@ yehram & MoreThanOnce - Yeah, I agree! I always like hearing peoples' stories even if I'm not totally behind them.

@ Blue-Senorie - I did the math, and math agrees.

@ Metta - Wow! That's a long story. But thanks for posting it! Maybe the first one was a ghost squirrel? But yeah, I agree, cats have weird senses. Either they're picking up on stuff we can't or they're just autistic.

@ AngelxEve - Hahaha, I love that twist at the end. Good story!

Ooh I've had a couple, though I am skeptical of both because they could very well just be figments of the imagination, and am actually pretty sure the second one was just a panic attack.

First, I laying down in bed, letting my eyes wander around the room, when I catch this black cloud hovering in the corner of my room. At first it doesn't register as odd until it bolts across the ceiling then dive bombs my FACE. I literally leaped out of my bed and ran outside of my room freaking out, and I couldn't sleep in there for like a week ;_;

Second, and I'm sure this wasn't actually paranormal in any respect, I had drank like, four and a half cans of energy drinks that day (Smart!), and when I tried to sleep later, my eyes suddenly burst wide open and it looked like a humongous shadowy spider was crawling all over me. I freaked out for a bit, then calmed down relatively quickly as it faded away. I thiiink that was just a hallucination! Never drank that many cans of monster in one day again XD

I used to see shadows walk around my house , and call out peoples name. But no one answered . One time I was walking through a room and I thought I saw this black robe behind me. I think this is paranormal stuff.
